  1. The Midwest's largest fireworks display, timed to music, is held at Warner Park in Madison, Wisconsin. The event always falls on the Saturday before 4th of July. The show lasts approximately 35 minutes and approximately 15,000 shells are fired off during the show. It is the largest single-day event in Wisconsin with crowds estimated close to 300,000 people. In addition to fireworks, the celebration includes a decorated bicycle parade, carnival with rides, music stages, a baseball game, F-16 fly-overs and more.

  2. Held the Saturday before Independence Day, Rhythm and Booms is the largest fireworks display in the Midwest. The event has been held since 1993 at Warner Park in Madison. The event is put on by the Madison Fireworks Fund and proceeds go to local children's charities.
