  1. The Rathskeller is a German themed area of Memorial Union. It is great place to watch bands, study and even drink beer. It is often called "The Rat" as Rathskeller doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

  2. The Rathskeller erroneously appeared (by name only) in the movie "The Prince and Me" which was supposed to have taken place on the UW-Madison campus. The set version looks nothing like the real-life Rathskeller.
