  1. In Madison there are places to get something to eat and maybe have a drink. There are also places to have a drink and maybe have something to eat. Nattspil is definitely an excellent place for both food and drink. It has an excellent bar atmosphere and has great food that is served EVERY day until 1 AM. The pizzas are delicious and the mussels are certainly reasonable for their relative scarcity in Madison. I warn Nattspil goers that some of the dim sum items, like the wontons, have very small portions. If you stick to the pizzas, sandwiches, and mussels you won't be disappointed by the value. They also have a great drink menu.

  2. Natt Spil is a great bar just down the street from the Great Dane in downtown Madison. The lighting is very dark and the bar is much deeper than it is wide. They only take cash and serve food from a wonderful menu until 1 AM. I've been impressed with their pizzas and their mussels. They often have live DJ's there.
