  1. The large plaza area comprised of the area bordering the Memorial Library, the University Bookstore, the State Historical Society, Memorial Union, and the Humanities Building. In this area there is a fountain, some grassy area for sun tanning or throwing frisbee, or reading a good book. In front of the main entrance to Memorial Library, right in fron of the start of State Street, there are little huts that sell food. Usually there is both Jamaican and Thai food stands. There is also a fresh fruit stand.
