  1. Lakeshore Path is a wooded running/biking/walking path that borders Lake Mendota near campus. Most often thought of as the path between the Memorial Union and Lakeshore dorms, the path actually extends west past the dorms, around University Bay to the tip of Picnic Point, from there it follows the shoreline around Eagle Heights as a walking trail to Wally Bauman Woods. The path offers a nature preserve-like setting and awesome views in the midst of downtown Madison.
