  1. A brew pub restaurant in Madison, Wisconsin that brews its own great-tasting beers. The food is quite good and the atmosphere is nice and friendly. The original location is still on 123 E Doty St, Madison, but there are now two other locations--one at 2980 Cahill Main in Fitchburg (just south of Madison) and another at 357 Price Place at the Hilldale Mall. Due to some insane law, only two locations of any one company can serve their own micro brews, so the newest location at the Hilldale Mall does not serve Great Dane beer. It's insane!

  2. The Great Dane of the Hilldale Mall now DOES serve Great Dane brews, thanks to a recent change in the post-Prohibition law that previously prevented "the Dane" from serving its own beers in three different locations in Dane County.
