  1. Located in southwest Madison, Elver Park is one of Madison's largest parks at 227 acres. Elver Park offer a great variety of activities. In the summer there are basketball courts, tennis courts, disc golf course, many hiking trails, soccer fields, softball fields and reservable shelters. In the winter there is cross country skiing, ice skating, hockey and sledding. Elver Park is also the location of the 4th of July fireworks display. With all that this park has to offer, it draws people from all over Madison.
