  1. The road that circumnavigates the parking lot at Madison's West Towne Mall. Lanes are created and then merge together willy nilly, making accidents as likely as ever. It certainly doesn't help that people drive like maniacs to shorten this roundabout trip to the other end of the mall area. To keep my sanity, I avoid this path whenever possible. The "Circle of Death" name can also apply to the corresponding fiery pathway to hell at the East Towne Mall.

  3. A common drinking game. A deck of cards is spread in a circle around an empty cup. Each card has a specific rule associated with it. Players take turns drawing from the circle. Exact rules will vary depending on players involved, but drawing a king requires the player to pour some of his/her drink into the empty cup in the middle. Drawing 4th king ends the game, and requires that player to drink the contents of middle cup. Game is also called "Kings," "King's Cup," or "Circle of Friendship."

  4. The circular roadways that surround the East Towne and West Towne malls. Although "death" is a strong word, these parking lots ARE a pain in the butt.
