  1. A brewery on the east side of Madison. It opened a few years ago. At the brewery they also have a bar with a simple menu (with crazy good pizza). Their beers are available in bars and restaurants around Madison and Milwaukee. Like many micro breweries, their beers are big on taste and alcohol. Their beers leave no doubt in your mind that you're drinking beer. Caution, if you love the taste of watery beers, you may not like some of their beers.

  2. Ale Asylum was started by the former master brewer at the Angelic Brewing Co. in downtown Madison. After he jumped ship and started his own microbrewery, "the Angelic" could no longer live up to its "Brewing Co." namesake. They now serve Ale Asylum beer and their bartenders make a point to say "Ale Asylum" before the name of each beer, perhaps as part of an agreement between the two separate businesses.
