  1. "Herons of La Crosse" is a public arts project in La Crosse that aims to promote the arts and tourism. There are 35 such heron sculptures, each about six feet in height, scattered across the La Crosse area. The herons will be on display from April 2008 till November 2008.

    Go to the Pump House, La Crosse's center for visual and performing arts, for a map of the various heron locations.
