Kelly's Grille   Add to Favorites   Flag

  1. Kelly's Grille is bar and restaurant located on Research Park Drive at the entrance to the Quarry Hill neighborhood. It opened with the name R & R Kelly's and had a Irish theme. It has gone through a number of menu and management changes over the roughly 5 years it's been open. It is now more of a bar and grill with a golf theme. One of the owners over the years has been Jerry Kelly, the PGA golfer. Many of his bags and other golf memorabilia are on display throughout. Food is generally good (please bring back the nachos on served on the pizza tray). As of April 2008, it is smoke free.

MAY 2008 UPDATE: I walked by the other day. There is a sign saying it is closed for remodeling. Sure, it is closed but I didn't see any remodeling. I'd like to see it open up again.

Past Words of the Day

A nickname for Fort Worth, Texas.

Nickname for Atlanta that comes from the generally sticky-hot weather in the city.

You'd better not do that.

Carry a heavy load or a bulky package for a distance: "The MTA is on strike every Christmas, so we schlep our packages from Macy's to Grand Central"

865 is the area code for the Knoxville area, which spells V-O-L. This is no coincidence, but rather a homage paid to the beloved Volunteer sports teams in the Knoxville area.

A supermarket shopping cart.

A favorite food of kids in the Milwaukee Public School System (MPS) and a Milwaukee classic! Pork shaped into a form kind of resembling a chicken drumstick, but really flat, coated, and fried.

What you'll find on local bumper stickers in reference to the town of Homer.
