1. This is one of the common nicknames for Solid Rock Church's enormous sculpture of Jesus Christ. Rising 62 feet high this sculpture is hard to miss. It is located on the east side of I-75 north of Cincinnati. While it has other nicknames such Touchdown Jesus, I really like the name Butter Jesus. In the right light, it looks just like a giant butter sculpture.

2. I've heard a comedian (Heywood Banks) on Bob & Tom Morning Show, sing a song called "Big Butter Jesus." It's fabulous and very catchy. Oh Promise Jesus! Imperial Jesus! Can't Believe it's not Jesus! Oleo, Lord!

3. Monroe's Solid Rock Church has a giant Jesus statue, officially called "King of Kings," that is likened to butter for its pale, buttery color. The Butter Jesus reminds us all to "spread" the word. Butter Jesus is also known as Touchdown Jesus, Giant Jesus, and Drowning Jesus.
