  1. Not just to carry a load for a considerable distance, but also slang for an awkward, clumsy, or stupid person. Posted by: Anonymous on Dec 10, 2009 (0) (0)
  2. There is also a metal-wire cart with two wheels, which often folds to save space when not in use. It is used to shlep things around and is refered to as a "shlepper". Checking it just now, I hope it isn't a slur because it is also listed as a Yiddish word for "awkward and stupid person". Posted by: Anonymous on Dec 08, 2009 (0) (0)
  3. Carry a heavy load or a bulky package for a distance: "The MTA is on strike every Christmas, so we schlep our packages from Macy's to Grand Central" Posted by: chickenandporn on Jul 10, 2008 (0) (0)
