  1. A small chocolate shop on Water St near the Brooklyn Bridge. It is famous for its hot chocolate. You can either get your hot chocolate as a "classic" hot chocolate which is thick and chocolaty or you get get it "wicked" which adds a little chili pepper. Unlike other hot chocolates, this tastes more like melted chocolate. No wonder there always seems to be a line.

You'd better not do that.

1. A derogatory term for a person born and raised in the city of Troy, New York. The more proper term would be "Trojan."

2. A derogatory name for the city of Troy itself, likening it to a toilet.

Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis or IUPUI, the acronym that inspired the not-so-flattering nickname.

Short for the "Segway Human Transporter", a two-wheeled, motorized sidewalk 'scooter' that one can easily rent or buy in D.C.

A person so transfixed by gambling machines that he or she becomes virtually oblivious to the rest of the world.
