  1. The Cloisters are an extension of the Metropolitan Art Museum dedicated to the architecture and art of the European Middle Ages. The buildings are made up of parts of different European cloisters and the 4 acres of grounds in the northern part of Fort Tyron Park overlook the Hudson.
