  1. A mint julep is traditionally made of four ingredients: mint, bourbon, sugar and water.

    It is the traditional drink of the Kentucky Derby. On Derby day alone, over 120,000 Mint Juleps are served at Churchill Downs. Horse racing wagering typically faulters after multiple Mint Juleps.
