  1. White Castle is the fast food burger chain infamous for its hamburgers called "sliders". It was founded in Wichita in 1921, nearly twenty years before McDonald's got started. White Castle was catapulted into pop culture immorality while being featured prominently in the Harold & Kumar movie series, the first of which was "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle".
