Past Words of the Day

Celebrated on February 9th, 2010, a good 53 days before Easter (as opposed to the typical 46 for Mardi Gras), honoring the New Orleans Saints and their new Lombardi Trophy!

A coffee crawl is like a bar crawl, but for coffeehouses. A local tour company, Seattle By Foot, stages these crawls on weekends, offering the opportunity to experience Seattle's coffee shops, which constitute ground zero for many coffee enthusiasts. And, yes, there's more than just Starbucks on the tour!

Red and green chile sauce together with the same dish.

National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, located in the middle of Puowaina Crater (a dead volcano). This is a beautiful national cemetery for those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The grounds are beautifully kept and the views of Honolulu and the hills are great.

Party, live it up.
