  1. Pearl Harbor is a harbor located on the island of Oahu. It's a United States Navy base and the headquarters of the U.S. Pacific Fleet. Most well-known for the memorial remembering the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor on Sunday, December 7, 1941, resulting in the United States becoming involved in World War II.
