  1. A rather obvious variation of "Rabobank", a Netherlands-based banking group that failed to change its name upon entering the Southern California market where it sounds as if the bank wants people to steal its money. 'Rabo' is also an informal word in Spanish for 'tail' (as in an animal's tail). Posted by: Anonymous on Dec 30, 2008 (1) (0)
  2. Rabo is also informal Spanish for "tail" as in "rear end," especially of a human. Needless to say, the Latin crowd in California gets a big kick out of this name. Posted by: Anonymous on Apr 08, 2009 (0) (0)
